The article, “What $424,900 buys you in ...” is sort of a recurring theme, where occasionally a new one will come out for a different amount in a different city or group of cities. I thought I might do my own version, but I thought that I would keep the numbers, well, a little more average. $150,320 was the average price a home sold for in January 2009 according to statistics provided by the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors.
