Minneapolis Neighborhoods
- Check out the Beltrami MLS
Like many neighborhoods in the northeastern end of Minneapolis, Beltrami has attracted many artists, who have set up studios in the area. The neighborhood and park were both named after Giacomo Constantino Beltrami, who was an Italian jurist, explorer, and scholar in the 19th century, adding to the romance of the neighborhood.
The park in Beltrami is a beautiful and very large park, with room for a playground, soccer and softball fields, bocci courts, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, and a basketball court, all right there for people to enjoy and use freely as they watch their children romp in the grass or play under the many trees.
There may be a bit of industrial activity in the southwestern part of the neighborhood, but Beltrami is, for the most part, an excellent place to settle down and enjoy life in Minneapolis.
