Located in the southwest corner of greater Minneapolis, Fulton is a neighborhood on the grow. Fulton borders neighboring suburb Edina, one of the area's largest and most popular suburbs, and it's difficult to tell when you've moved from one to the other. A largely residential neighborhood, many of its homes were built during the gracious eras of the 1920s and 1930s, and they reflect the architectural styles popular in those decades. The Fulton Neighborhood Association actively encourages renovation and restoration with grants and prizes for those who renovate their properties to fit the neighborhood profile and appearance.

One of the most popular attractions in Fulton is Pershing Park, a multi-use recreational area which includes baseball, soccer and softball fields, a walking path, tot lot and wading pool, tennis courts and a basketball court. Pershing Recreational Center offers programs for children of all ages throughout the year, including summer day camps and soccer camps for kids ages 3 and up.

The neighborhood is part of the Minneapolis school district and home to Lake Harriet Community School for grades K-8. High school students from Fulton attend Southwest Middle High School, just one block away from Pershing Park.
