Minneapolis Neighborhoods
Located in the southeastern quadrant of Minneapolis, the Hale neighborhood takes its name from Connecticut revolutionary figure Nathan Hale. Bordered on the north by Minnehaha Creek, the neighborhood is largely residential made up of nearly 90% owner occupied single family homes. The community reflects the investment of owners in their neighborhood.
Minnehaha Park is one of the oldest parks in the city of Minneapolis. It offers miles upon miles of hiking and biking trails along with miles of waterway. The park offers outdoors recreational activities for the entire community. Hale also takes a great deal of pride in being the home of an English Language Learners school that provides educational opportunities for all community children.

Hale is a working and middle class neighborhood with median home prices just above the median home prices throughout Minneapolis. The community resembles a comfortable bedroom suburb of the big city far more than it does an urban neighborhood - but it enjoys all the city amenities that come with being part of the central area.
