Located northeast of downtown Minneapolis, Holland is a thriving, vital neighborhood of over 3,500 people. The middle class working neighborhood is ethnically and culturally diverse, and offers many opportunities for recreation and activities to all of its residents from toddlers through seniors.

Though there is a core commercial district with shops, restaurants and cafes, Holland is largely residential. Nearly 75% of the housing was built pre-1920, and the neighborhood has a comfortable old-time atmosphere liberally leavened with more modern amenities. The housing stock is about evenly divided between owner occupied single family homes and rental property. The area is home to several parks that offer outdoor recreational activities for all residents year round. Close to downtown, Holland residents are insulated from the hustle and bustle but still easily accessible to the cultural, social and other amenities of the downtown area.

Housing prices are slightly lower than the median prices for similar housing in other parts of the city, making it a wonderful neighborhood for young families and singles.
