Keewaydin Minneapolis Real Estate

This neighborhood is situated on the shores of Lake Nokomis and takes its name from the Longfellow poem, Hiawatha, using a name that means "the home wind."

Keewaydin is an active and fairly young neighborhood in terms of population, with most residents falling within the 25-44 age range. Single professionals and young families make up the bulk of the residents, but there's also a large group of seniors and a number of children. The expanse of age creates a diverse and rich community.

The area is home to many quaint single-family homes on small lots. Most of the homes in the area were built between 1920 and 1960, with architectural styles of mini-Tudors, Bungalows, and one story Ranch-style homes.
