Keewaydin Park and Lake Nokomis offer many recreational opportunities for residents of Keewaydin. The park includes softball and baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, a wading pool and tot lot, picnic areas and a walking path. There are weekend sailing races on Lake Nokomis, one of three sailing lakes in the Minneapolis parks system. The Nokomis Lake recreation area includes facilities for sailing including boat launching for city residents, broomball, basketball, basketball, tennis, football and soccer.
