Kenny Minneapolis Real Estate
The Kenny neighborhood is a thriving, active community located nearly in the southwest corner of the greater Minneapolis city limits. The neighborhood is one of gracious older homes that have been renovated and updated, and the residents are a balanced mix of long-time homeowners and new arrivals.
The area is largely made up of very unique single-family homes constructed between the 1930s and the 1950s. The predominate architectural style is the Bungalow, but there are also many two-story brick and stucco homes.

The neighborhood counts among its many attractions the beauty of Kenny Park, which offers neighborhood residents many opportunities for outdoor activities. With facilities for tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and hockey, there's something for nearly any sports enthusiast. The park is also home to walking and biking paths, a picnic area, wading pool and tot lot and a playground for older children.
The Kenny Neighborhood Association is actively involved in neighborhood revitalization and their efforts have paid off handsomely in rising home prices in the Kenny area. The area is largely comprised of single family homes built since the 1940s, and the neighborhood profile is very suburban in feel. The annual Kenny Neighborhood Summer Days bring out the entire neighborhood to enjoy their neighbors, trades stories and have some fun and games in the sun.
