Longfellow Minneapolis Real Estate
Henry Wadworth Longfellow was a famous poet for the early 1800s, and in Minneapolis his memory is honored with a neighborhood named in his honor. Longfellow is found in the east central part of the city. Historically, this neighborhood was the first served by rail in Minneapolis, and you can still see this influence in the industrial parts of the area. However, there are a number of residential streets as well, with multi-family homes used for renting being extremely common.

Longfellow - Minneapolis MN Homes & Condos MLS
About 5,000 people call Longfellow home, and this number has not changed drastically in over 20 years. About half of these people are renters and the other half of the people are homeowners. The real estate market isn't huge in this neighborhood, with less than 2% of the homes being on the market, but you can find some real gems in you're willing to look.
The location is great because you're not far from downtown, but the park gives the neighborhood a more suburban atmosphere. This is a great place to raise a family if you want to live and work in the city.
