Lyndale Minneapolis Real Estate
In 1768, Josiah Lyndon was the colonial governor of Rhode Island. His work inspired a New York family to name their son Lyndon, and the Rev. Lyndon King in turn had a son, William, who moved to Minnesota and named his new 1,400-acre farm Lyndale Farms, in honor of his father. To the west of the neighborhood, there is now a street called Lyndale Avenue, and the neighborhood in Minneapolis bears this name as well.

Most of Lyndale is residential, with the businesses like restaurants and shops mostly being found along Lake Street, which is the northern boundary of the neighborhood. A large percentage of the homes found in this community are multi-family homes, making it a perfect place to rent.
This neighborhood is pretty evenly split between families and people living alone, so it's a perfect place to raise children or to move in if you're interested in the dating scene. There are a number of parks and other places for children to play. You're also fairly close to downtown Minneapolis and some of the museums and art centers in the city, making this an nice place to live.
