Lynnhurst is a residential neighborhood that is found in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This neighborhood is located in the southwestern part of the state, along the edge of Lake Harriet, and it extends to Lyndale Avenue on the east. The drawing point of interest in this community is Lynnhurst Park, which is located at the intersection of West Minnehaha Parkway and West 50th Street in Minneapolis. This park was once a part of the larger Lynnhurst Planning District, aptly named for the abundance of linden trees in the area.

Lynnhurst Park was purchased in 1921 and given its name later that year. The park is about 8.2 acres in size and is lined by homes, making this a perfect place to raise a family. The vast majority of the homes in the Lynnhurst neighborhood were built in the early 1900s and are still in excellent condition today. There are few vacant housing units in this neighborhood, which is home to mostly homeowners rather than renters. If you do find a home in this neighborhood, the average value is around $260,000.
