Minneapolis Neighborhoods

Located in the South of Minneapolis, Page (like many other Minneapolis neighborhoods) is named after the elementary school that serves the district. The school is named for Walter Hines Page, a nineteenth century American diplomat.

Page is a predominantly residential neighborhood, with Pearl Park-crammed with sporting amenities including tennis courts and baseball, soccer, and football fields, as well as ice skating and hockey facilities-located at its center. This is a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood, located close to the Minneapolis City limits.

Homes in the Page neighborhood were built mainly in the 1920s and 1930s, and are mostly two-story Colonial style residences. Approximately two thousand people live in Page, and around half of these are families with one or more children under the age of 18.

The majority of residents own their homes, with very few renters living here, and most adult residents are aged between 25 and 44. This, together with the competitive housing prices in the area, suggests that Page is quickly developing into a popular Minneapolis neighborhood, whether for first-time home buyers or those looking to relocate from another area.
