Minneapolis Neighborhoods within the Powderhorn Community

Whittier - This old neighborhood boasts beautiful architecture with plenty of residential properties available for sale.

Lyndale - This convenient location is sought after area of Minneapolis.

Central - Home ownership is on the rise in Central as it is in many areas of Minneapolis.

Bryant - Bryant neighborhood was named for William Cullen Bryant, who was an American poet who lived from 1794 to 1878.

Powderhorn Park - Powderhorn is a predominantly residential neighborhood, dominated by single-family lots.

Bancroft - This wonderful little neighborhood was named after the local elementary school, which is named for George Bancroft, an American historian born in 1800.

Corcoran - Housing in Corcoran is about evenly divided between rental property and owner occupied housing, with about 60% of the land devoted to single family detached homes.

Standish - Standish is a quiet neighborhood with a population of around seven thousand, with all the advantages of a busy city-thanks to the light rail system, Downtown Minneapolis, great shopping in nearby St. Paul, and some of the biggest and best parks in the city are just minutes away.
