Powderhorn Park Minneapolis Real Estate

The Powderhorn Park neighborhood is on the south side of Minneapolis taking its name from Powderhorn Park lake. Many people that live in the neighborhood hold community events and activities in the park. Powderhorn Park is mainly a single-family residential neighborhood. The neighborhood was annexed by the City of Minneapolis in 1887 and the majority of the housing was built by the 1920's.

The neighborhood is bound on the north by Lake Street, on the east by Cedar Avenue South, on the south by 38th Street East(In 1986 its southern boundary was moved from 36th Street to 38th Street), and on the west by Chicago Avenue.
