The City of Victoria is located within the greater Carver County, Minnesota. This beautiful community is tucked in between Chanhassen, Waconia, Chaska and just south of Lake Minnetonka. Victoria has a small town feel and good highway access to Mineapolis and Saint Paul.
Settlers came to this area in the late 19th century because of the rich farmland. Today it has grown from a farming community to a wonderful mix of residential and commercial space.
According to the 2010 US Census, Victoria had a population of 7,345. Victoria is 9.79 square miles in total area, with 1.78 of those square miles made up of water. The nine lakes in Victoria give residents ample opportunity to soak in all the Minnesota outdoors has to offer. The area is popular for fishing, boating, swimming and more. This city has gained the nickname of "The City of Lakes and Parks." There are over 200 acres of parkland from the 13 total parks. The gorgeous and beloved Carver Park Reserve is also located with the Victoria city limits.
Though Victoria is just outside the Twin Cities, the Minnesota highway system makes accessing the metro a breeze.
