Old houses line the streets of this sweet little neighborhood located just south of Powderhorn Lake in Minneapolis. This lovely area has a lot of classic charm with many of the homes being built before 1940. Many of the homes still hold their character, but the properties are still updated for the 21st century.
There is a commercial district along 38th Street and Bloomington Avenue, with unique shops for local residents to frequent or possibly work at.
This lovely neighborhood was named after the area elementary school, which itself was named after George Bancroft, the famous American historian born in 1800. The area is a fantastic place to start a family, or to be near to the lively downtown scene, or to be in close proximity to Minneapolis if you work in the city.
