Ventura Village Minneapolis Real Estate
Ventura Village is a neighborhood in Minneapolis bordered by Interstate 94 and Interstate 35W. The main commercial artery in the neighborhood is Franklin Avenue and runs to east-west through Ventura Village. Ventura Village used to be a part of the Phillips neighborhood until May 9, 2002 when it became a separate neighborhood. Ventura Village took its name from a Spanish word that means happiness or luck.
This neighborhood has many plentiful sights, is home to a charming collective of residents and has a close proximity to downtown Minneapolis. Ventura Village is set up nicely for simple networking throughout the Twin Cities; the nearby interstates, the mass transit options and the many bike lanes/trails make transportation a breeze.
The area has a few different architectural styles. There are early 20th century Victorian style homes still standing and much more modern homes built closer to the 21st century. There are condos, duplexes and apartment complexes in the neighborhood as well.
