Victory Minneapolis Real Estate
Situated in north Minneapolis is the neighborhood called Victory. A memorial to World War I veterans and fallen soldiers, the Victory Memorial, is what the neighborhood is named after. Victory Memorial Drive and the Grand Rounds parkway has become a center of affluence in north Minneapolis.
The neighborhood is surrounded by Newton Avenue, Pen Avenues, Xerxes Avenue, Dowling Avenue and the Humboldt industrial area.
In the early 20th century, the Victory neighborhood was home to factory and mill workers. Today, the neighborhood maintains many vintage homes from the 20s and from the 30s through 60s, many of which have been updated or modernized to cater to the needs of a first time homebuyer.
