Windom is a neighborhood located in Minneapolis in the southwest community. Windom is bordered by West 62nd Street, West 54th Street, Diamond Lake Road, Interstate 35W, Lyndale Avenue South and Highway 121.

Windom is  a popular community for its location on the outskirts of Minneapolis, affording a feeling of a nearly rural or suburban area. Parts of the community overlook a vast area where no houses exist on the outermost southern border, allowing for the country-home type of feeling while still living within the city which affords many amenities.

Windom has many architectural styles in the neighborhood and the best description of the majority of the one to 1.5 story homes is eclectic. Most of these homes were built before 1940. This gives these homes a lot of character and charm; despite their age, many of these homes have been updated or refurbished.
