Wyoming MN Area Information

There are no large lakes or rivers here, but there are gorgeous rolling plains. The name for this city comes from the Pennsylvania area called Wyoming Valley; this is where the first group of settlers who called this Minnesota area home came from in 1855. In 1902 the city was incorporated into a village, and as the Minnesota freeway system grew the area boomed until the village turned into a city in 1974.

Of the 2,700 households in Wyoming, almost half reported children under the age of 18 living with them according to the 2010 US Census. This makes this a family-friendly place to call home and one that is filled with younger families.
